Seeking an experienced and personable Bar Tender / Duty Manager to join this committed, friendly team delivering an exceptional warm welcome to their members, guests and visitors.

Located in a bustling rural community, 20 minutes from Christchurch CBD, this muti-venue hub is well known for its customer service, great food delivery, community care responsibilities, and provides a lively atmosphere for all its guests throughout the week.

With a great following, and a reputation that keeps bringing the regulars back, the role of Bar Tender / Duty Manager is required to lead a team delivering excellent levels of customer service while engaging with the customers in a professional and positive way. 

Working with the Operations Manager you will help oversee the day-to-day operations of both the bar and restaurant and assist with all functions and events.
Staff management, stock ordering and inventory control, maintaining health & safety and liquor licensing compliance will go hand in hand with pouring a great pint, so the ability to be flexible and calm under pressure is essential.

A LCQ and current DM Certificate are preferred, Gaming and TAB knowledge would also be an asset.
However, as all training will be given, consideration will be made for a person who may have limited industry experience but has a great attitude, with good customer service skills and is reliable

This position offers a full time, permanent hours with some great staff benefits including a weekly travel allowance.
